Welcome to the Wyoming Telecommunications Association

The mission of the Wyoming Telecommunications Association is to provide information, representation, and general assistance to its Members in regulatory, legislative, and general business matters relating to the telecommunications industry.

WYTA seeks to unify industry efforts to promote greater effectiveness in presenting industry issues before regulatory and administrative agencies and legislative bodies. WYTA members collect, assemble, and distribute information about the industry to its members, interested parties, governmental agencies, and legislative bodies.

The WYTA consists of nine independent local exchange telephone companies that are located in whole or in part in Wyoming. These companies, located mainly in rural Wyoming communities, have provided local telephone service in their communities for decades. Annually, these companies invest tens of millions of dollars, dedicated to supporting and expanding the economic vitality of the communities they serve and to enhancing the educational and business opportunities within their served communities.

The WYTA is supported by various industry-centric associate members. These companies provide services and products that are vital to WYTA’s efforts in bringing to and maintaining reliable, quality telecommunications within the communities they serve.

WTYA members offer a wide variety of services, including basic and advanced local telephone service, long distance service, mobile telephone service, high speed broadband service (both wireline and fixed wireless) and digital television. Our members provide rural communities with cutting edge technological solutions from businesses they know and trust.
